Indutech fair brings technological innovation closer to Uruguayan industry

With the goal of bringing technological innovation closer to the industrial sector, the Chamber of Industries of Uruguay (CIU), together with Ingenio, LATU's incubator, organized the Indutech Fair. This event gathered technology and innovation experts, as well as companies providing software, artificial intelligence, eCommerce, and logistics solutions, among other fields.

The fair featured two prominent industry speakers. The welcome was given by Yanina Rodríguez, Digital Transformation Services Manager at CIU, who introduced the Chamber's President, Leonardo García.

"The purpose of this project is to connect industry with technology, a key aspect that still represents a challenge in Uruguay. Thinking of an industry without innovation or technological integration is unfeasible. Events like this align with the Chamber's objectives of bringing technological tools closer to our members and demonstrating that high-quality solutions also exist in our country," said García.

After her, Lucila Arboleya, President of LATU, commented that "this space is designed to connect the productive sector with new possibilities. It is also aligned with LATU's purpose of promoting sustainable development through innovation, quality, and technology, but primarily, we want to bring industries closer and place them on a strategic pillar."

Subsequently, Marcel Mordezki, Managing Director at Mordezki & Asociados, addressed the topic of physical artificial intelligence, future industrial businesses, and their impact on goods production.

Following this, Emilio Oteiza, Director of Ignite Consultoría en Innovación, spoke about the tools for approaching technological innovation from the perspective of industrial companies.

Then, Rosana Fernández, Head of Ingenio, led a tour through the stands of 19 Ingenio-incubated companies that participated with their products and solutions: DRONE.UY, Indubots, Wild Robotics, OSOM, Rinnolab Uruguay, POMETRIX, CRM Voice, Lunch it, Kepler Coach, Seglico Software, HyLabs, datanest, Pixo, Vaenvío Software, WISFLOW, Lolocar, Digital Henka, Nextit, and Nexlab.

The event took place at the Club de los Industriales and brought together companies from diverse industrial sectors in a space for exchange and connection with technological innovation.
